Atención de emergencia
La atención de emergencia es el tratamiento de afecciones médicas de emergencia. Generalmente se proporciona en una sala de emergencias, pero también puede hacer referencia al tratamiento que se brinda en una ambulancia. Pediatric emergency care
All our ERs welcome patients of all ages, including infants and children. Also, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, we have a dedicated pediatric ER. We are proud to offer emergency care that's dedicated to treating infants, children and adolescents. Our pediatric ER provides your child with developmentally-appropriate treatment and smaller equipment, a calm environment and staff with a kid-friendly approach. We offer your child the same high-quality treatment as adults in a facility that's tailored to their unique needs.
Infectious disease care
Our hospital caregivers deal with communicable diseases on a daily basis. We identify and treat infectious illnesses, while minimizing risk to caregivers, just as we have done with seasonal flu or tuberculosis. Though alternative ways to handle routine medical situations may exist, emergency concerns are always considered critical. Our facilities are staffed with experienced clinicians who are ready to assist you with emergency concerns, including red-flag symptoms, such as chest pain, sudden dizziness, weakness or numbness in limbs.
Regional transport services
Our network features an innovative and highly advanced emergency management system (EMS) and accompanying EMS team. This not only includes care from six hospitals, but also robust and growing regional transport services, behavioral transport services, telecommunications, regional disaster preparedness and disaster relief. We continually commit to patient-centered care and quality outcomes for you, your family and the community.
